I felt very well looked after by Mr Van den Bossche whilst an in patient for bowel cancer surgery. Although it was a worrying time, he was very understanding and I felt to be well cared for.

Michael Van Den Bossche has done a few operations on me in the past few years. He is so easy to get on with, he is upfront in explaining what one does not quite understand. His friendly manner makes you at ease, he treats you like he has known you for years but keeps a professional manner. I would say previous to Michael, other Surgeons I have had, although professional did not exactly make one at ease. Michael Van Den Bossche, I have told him and I would always leave my life in his hands. I am that confident in his professionalism.

The consultant was very thorough making sure with the information I had that I understood all my options prior to surgery. He was also good at making sure my after care was being fully completed by all parties. Likewise he regularly checked up on me post surgery not just when my follow up were due to take place.
