Laura was incredible. When I first met her in Jan 2020 she made me feel at ease, went through my notes from my stillbirth and explained the possible cause. We left it that I would get in touch when I next fell pregnant. When this happened, my midwife got in touch with Laura and we were under her care. Every moment of my pregnancy, she was there, I felt like her most important person under her care. Her advice and support was like no other. She scanned me even when I wasn’t scheduled and if I needed reassurance. I then had my baby at 35 weeks and she came to see me in transitional care which was lovely. In 2022 I then fell pregnant again, I went into panic knowing that Laura had reduced her hours and may not cover pre term but again she took me under her amazing care and going through every emotion we managed to get to term. She understood me and my needs, my thoughts and had such a way in saying things, we would laugh, I would cry but most importantly I would leave with such a positive mind knowing that I could do this pregnancy and that I had her respect and backing. She made me feel listened and in maternity this is such an important aspect.
