Dr Sundeep Kalra is a consultant cardiologist specialising in interventional cardiology. After graduating from the University of Cambridge and the Imperial College School of Medicine in London, he went on to train in cardiology and interventional cardiology at King's College Hospital in London.
His NHS practice is at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where he is the cardiology training lead.
Dr Kalra is dedicated and well-respected. He has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of all heart problems. He has particular expertise in percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty) procedures, including complex and advanced techniques. He is also involved in a number of current research initiatives, and his work is frequently published in major medical journals such as the EMJ and the Lancet.
