I found Dr Todd to be very approachable. He made me feel at ease and explained everything clearly.

Very easy to discuss my diagnosis with.

Dr Todd has treated both my 60 year old husband who was in serious heart failure and my 91 year old mother, who thinks she is invincible but had to have a pacemaker fitted . Both were in hospital at the height of the pandemic when we were in full lockdown. My husband is a very dour Yorkshireman and hates hospitals, said he liked Dr Todd very much as he was down to earth, honest and very professional. My Mother is a very grand old lady, the nurses call her "The Posh Lady". Dr Todd read her immediately and was utterly charming, very patient and explained everything to her in detail so she understood everything that had to be done and her medication and treatment going forward. A year on my husband is fit and healthy and my Mother is shortly to embark on a trip around the Scottish Highlands on the Royal Scott Train. I am not a medic but the fact that Dr Todd has given them both their lives back and they are living them to the full speaks volumes about what a super heart specialist Dr Todd is.

Dr Todd is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and reassuring in his manner. He explains all aspects of any investigation or operation clearly and in plain language. He is an excellent doctor and a warm and friendly person.

Entire association with Derick Todd has been excellent from start to date. His plain speaking approach is refreshing and you always feel he has the time for you. He explains issues clearly and realistically. His cardiac procedures have succeeded in getting me back to an acceptable and enjoyable day to day living level. A huge thank you!

I originally saw Dr Todd in August 2019 because of irregular heart rhythm. This eventually led to me having cardioversion and ablation, both carried out successfully by Dr Todd. Having then developed angina Dr Todd advised angioplasty with 3 stents which has been very successful. I have been totally satisfied with all the above and consider myself lucky to have met and been treated by Dr Todd. His caring and explanations of all the procedures could not be bettered and without hesitation I would recommend him to anyone seeking cardiac advice. Many, many thanks Dr Todd!
