Dr Sarkhel has massively changed my life for the better. He has helped me to understand my diagnosis of bipolar disorder and has given me the support I need to keep moving forward. He is very compassionate, empathetic and friendly and I feel I can talk to him easily about my problems without any judgement. He is extremely knowledgeable and will always talk me through the treatment plan in a way so I can understand it. I have also read his book - Resilience Unleashed which is very enlightening and informative and I would recommend it to anyone who has suffered trauma or wants to build their resilience. Personable, professional, clear explanation of diagnosis and implementation of a treatment plan that seem to be really working. After struggling for 12 months with anxiety and depression and trying clinical psychology counselling and 2 types of medication I was switched to CBT and a TCA medication - hey presto, seems to be hitting the mark.

Having contacted ten or more psychiatrists, all of which were unavailable for many months, I, fortunately, found Dr Sarkhel, who was able to see me within a week of contacting him. Upon meeting, he performed a detailed assessment and diagnosed me as having Bipolar 1 disorder. Dr Sarkhel was warm, kind, and caring throughout this process. Following my diagnosis, I never had to wait more than a few hours to hear back from him or his team on a question or query.
