Dr Ullah came over as being very professional, fully explaining to me the results of all the tests and the reason why I have been prescribed certain medication. He also explained the most likely way forward for my condition. An excellent face to face appointment.

I had a very clear explanation of why I was feeling light headed and as to what the next stage of treatment would involve.

Telephone call updated me following an ECG some 4 months ago. This 2nd opinion from another cardio specialist was very useful and informative. I have decided that the keyhole op. he mentioned was not for me currently! He usefully offered me the ability to call his office directly if I felt the need,rather than going through the GP referral route.

Everything was explained fully and in great detail. I was not rushed and all of my questions were answered very professionally and in a manner that I could understand.

Dr Ullah listened to my concerns, discussed a range of options (including any risks attached), gave advice as to how I could tweak my medication if I have further temporary periods of more irregular heartbeats and what he judged to be a safe range of medication increase for my metabolism. So I have strategies if I have any further periods should my ectopics and heart rate become more worrying again in the future .We agreed to keep medication stable and that if I have concerns I can contact Dr Ullah's secretary to speak to him without having to be re-referred- this gave me an added level of reassurance. Dr Ullah has always been very constructive and caring and listens really well - he was very understanding even though I admit I interjected a few times with concerns and thoughts of my own- this enabled me to improve my understanding of how my heart condition interacts with my other conditions- ultimately his flexibility and readiness to listen to me led to a more productive and satisfying appointment.
