Dr Ahsan has been extremely efficient in dealing with my condition. In addition, he has been available at all times and addressed all my questions and worries. He has been very nice and supportive.

Mine or rather Dr Ahsan’s first experience with me was when he tried to visit well past midnight when I was in hospital for another procedure and had suddenly developed an atrial flutter. He recommended taking anticoagulants twice daily. We had a more productive video consultation once I was home, having undertaken an outpatient ECG, echocardiogram and 24 hour ECG monitoring, where he explained the situation, potential outcomes and treatment options. I took Apixaban for several months until I had regained a level of fitness after the above mentioned procedure. In discussion with Dr Ahsan I decided I would prefer to have an ablation procedure rather than continue taking anticoagulants on a permanent basis.

I went to Dr Ahsan for a second opinion having been previously diagnosed by a local cardiologist with Atrial fibrillation. From the very first consultation Dr Ahsan has been utterly amazing. I was investigated thoroughly with all the necessary diagnostic tests and was also inserted with a cardiac loop recorder. It turns out that I have NOT got Atrial fibrillation at all. It was an incredibly stressful time for me having received the wrong diagnosis originally and I cannot thank Dr Ahsan enough for his kindness, patience, expertise and outstanding patient care. He is without doubt one of the most reassuring Doctors I have ever been fortunate enough to be treated by and his expertise in his field is unrivalled. My heartfelt thanks to him and his team for his care and help and also my thanks to Dr Birdi at the Keyhole Heart Clinic for his help after my original mis- diagnosis and his care and for his referral for me to see Dr Ahsan. Dr Ahsan's care has literally been life changing for me in that I now have my life quality back. I cannot recommend Dr Ahsan highly enough he is beyond wonderful. Dr Ahsan was very calm and clear, and explained his diagnosis in layman's terms. He made me feel completely confident about the procedure required to implant a pacemaker and answered all my questions very well. The procedure worked perfectly and the check up 7 weeks later was equally informative and reassuring.

Dr Ashan has been amazing, and he has restored my faith in doctors all together. From the first appointment I had, he really took the time to listen, then go on to make sure I was fully tested and all angles were covered. Really friendly, easy to talk to, explained all my results in detail with great knowledge. It can be pretty scary at a young age to feel you have heart problems, but to be reassured and have the results and outcome properly explained in detail, is the most reassuring thing I've had after all these year. Thank you for your support and wish all doctors were like you!

My experience with Dr Ahsan has been excellent. He has given me back hope with regards to my heart health that I had lost. He knew exactly how to treat me from a clinical perspective and is doing so with genuine care, kindness and respect. I feel safe in his hands and grateful that I was directed to him.

Syed was very good at keeping me informed of all aspects of my condition and ongoing treatment. As a result he made me feel very much at ease and confident in the subsequent treatment and ongoing prognosis. Therefore I would fully recommend him for any heart related conditions. What also made the process a lot easier was the pro-activity of his personal assistant in contacting the doctor when necessary and making ongoing appointments in a timely manner. Her communication skills were excellent.
