I would like to start by saying a massive thank you to Dr Syed Ahsan and his secretary Helen Moss. I have received exceptional care from them both over the last 10 months. I have seen quite a few cardiologists over the past few years since developing AF and SVT during my first pregnancy and I have never had the answers that I needed or the treatment plan that I have now, since seeing Dr Ahsan. I can honestly say that from a relatively young person's point of view, developing a heart condition is the scariest thing I have ever had to come to terms with. I don't know where I would be with it if I hadn't seen Dr Ahsan. I would highly recommend him to anyone out there that's suffering with the anxiety and worry that comes with dealing with the physical symptoms of a heart condition. Dr Ahsan has treated me as if I am important to him, you are not just another number, gaining my trust was so important I doubt I could have gone through with my ablations without him. No one understands what it feels like when you have a heart arrhythmia, even family and friends can't relate to it and from my personal experience it's almost as emotionally challenging as it is physically life changing but with Dr Ahsan and Helen always on the end of an email or phone call I can finally relax knowing that I am in the best hands. I have been treated by Dr Ahsan on the NHS at Barts and privately at the Wellington, on both occasions he went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable with what was going to happen, he also personally checked how I was doing after each ablation. Now, I have the rest of my life ahead of me with my young family, hopefully I can be carefree again and that's all thanks to Dr Ahsan. Sarah Power (32) THANK YOU!
