Dr Ahsan has been an exemplary doctor in every meeting I have had with him. In each of my face-to-face meetings with him, he has explained the need for heart treatment in a clear and straighforward manner, answering my questions and putting me at ease. This was most apparent durng our meeting when he had to explain the findings of the heart monitor. The morning after heart surgery Dr Ahsan came into my hospital room to check how I was doing, that I felt comfortable, explained how the operation had gone and my need for a further follow-up meeting in a few weeks' time. I have been very fortunate to have been treated by Dr Ahsan and I am very grateful of his expertise.

I have been treated by Dr Ahsan for a number of cardiac problems over the last four years. Having performed an angiogram and discovering I needed surgery he very quickly referred me to an excellent surgeon,who successfully performed double bypass surgery in the Harley Street Clinic. Dr Ahsan later performed a cardiac ablation to cure my very frequent ectopic heart beats. I was terrified at the prospect of the procedure, but he has such a calm reassuring manner he made me feel very comfortable. He has also managed to control my previously uncontrollable hypertension. Dr Ahsan is very knowledgeable and will spend as long as necessary answering questions. He works with you to address your concerns rather than just telling you what to do. Dr Ahsan is an excellent Cardiologist who I would recommend to anybody and he is also the nicest man you could wish to meet.

I found Dr Ahsan's professionalism and clear explanation incredibly reassuring and helpful. He was very thorough and patient with me explaining all my test results and possible future treatments which made me feel confident that I was being well looked after. However, the thing that stands out most for me in my dealings with both Dr Ahsan and his secretary Helen is their empathy and willingness to go above and beyond to support me during a stressful and scary time.

I liked Dr Ahsan when I first met him. He has a quiet but confident manner and is clearly speaking from a wide experience of managing atrial fibrillation. He explained the possible plans of management, their success rate and their complications. I felt instinctively that I could trust him. I had had a previous ablation last year but had to wait over 30 weeks. By the time It went ahead, I was feeling really ill. This time at the initial consultation I was still feeling relatively well but Dr Ahsan said he would prefer to do the procedure while I was still fit - a novel idea for me - but clearly sensible. I had some routine investigations done. But as I lived at a distance, he promised to phone with the results- which he did. I had become more breathless in the interval. In addition, there was now a degree of urgency because of the corona virus. Once I had decided to go ahead, everything was organised quickly and very efficiently. The procedure was carried out within 10 days. My admission was smooth. The care was excellent and everyone was very kind. I saw Dr Ahsan on the day of the procedure which was reassuring. He also reviewed me the following day and updated me on the ablation itself and also discussed the possible outcomes. I couldn’t have wished for better care. I Dr Ahsan is a very special doctor, I consider myself lucky to have been under his care.

Very professional and gives a clear explanation of the condition and your treatment plan going forward

Dr Ahsan was very professional, practical and considerate. He took time to explain all the issues that were causing my atrial fibrilation , atrial flutter and taccycardia and has managed to get these problems resolved so that I am now back to normal. Pre and post procedure, all was explained fully to my needs and the staff supporting him were also extremely competent. Dr Ahsan has a nice sense of humour, too, which is always appreciated! I am very happy to recommend Dr Ahsan, which I do with full confidence in his knowledge, experience and professional manner.

The consultations enabled me to make an informed choice about the way forward to treat the condition that I had. Dr Ahsan was very reassuring and confident about the treatment. On the morning of the procedure he was once again very reassuring and helped to ease any worries that I had. After the procedure he updated me on how everything went and also followed this up with a telephone call a few days later to check on my progress. Dr Ahsan was very thorough and took the time to explain everything throughout the process and also kept my gp up to date with progress. Very happy with the treatment I have received.
