Dr Mark Signy undertook undergraduate training at Merton College Oxford and St Thomas' Hospital in London before progressing to complete postgraduate training at Guy's, St Mary's, and St Thomas' London where he was a lecturer and senior registrar and subsequently an honorary consultant cardiologist. Today he is a Consultant Cardiologist to Western Sussex NHS Trust, previously also working as a consultant at St Thomas' and RSCH Brighton. He has been a council member of both the British Cardiovascular Society and the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society, Chair of the Sussex Cardiac Centre Clinical Network and clinical director of medicine at Worthing Hospital, as well as Chair of the MAC at West Sussex Clinic and Goring Hall Hospital.
