Doctor Indran Davagnanam treated me several times, blood patches and CT-myelograms. Dr Davagnanam always took the time to explain what was about to happen and make sure I understood and as a patient I felt 'involved' in the process rather than an object. I always had plenty of questions, definitely some weird and wonderful ones. Dr Davagnanam always took the time to listen to all of them and give me an answer. During my treatment - which was done on my lower back whilst I laid on my tummy - Dr Davagnanam always made sure I felt safe. He made sure I was as comfortable as possible and showed the utmost respect towards me, and made sure his team treated me in a similar manner. When a treatment had side effects I did not anticipate, Dr Davagnanam made sure he communicated with me all the way through. His competence and kindness - when I didn't understand, when I was scared, when I was upset, or when I was in pain - have made all the difference. Dr Davagnanam's care and genuine caring for the patient are unparalleled. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to him and his team.

Dr Davagnanam talked me through everything extremely thoroughly before the blind blood patch procedure. I felt I was in safe, capable, expert hands. He is the absolute best. Against the odds, the procedure seems to have worked and hopefully I will never need to be back at Queens Square again but, if I did have to go back, I would definitely see Dr Davagnanam.
