I honestly couldn't thank Daniela enough! She has done my scans for many years now and has always been clear, transparent and informative. I am usually an anxious person and she has always made the process easy and smooth. I accidentally booked another place for a scan a few years ago and the experience I received traumatised me until I went back to Daniela. Daniela Steyn at Sonoworld is an expert, caring and highly professional sonographer. Having an ultrasound examination with Daniela is an enjoyable, stress-free experience and she tells you what she is seeing as she proceeds with the examination, and then suggests any action that she thinks you should take. Later that day, you will receive a full written report which you can pass on to your GP if required

I had an appointment a week ago. Booking was as simple as always and at very short notice for scan on my ankle and knee. Daniela saw me. She is amazing. So knowledgable and professional. No waiting time to go in as always and very clean and tidy practice.

I have visited Daniela at Sonoworld on many occasions since 2020 for various reasons / body areas to be scanned. Sometimes for routine checking and at other times, via doctor recommendation. Daniela is always very thorough, kind and her room is spotlessly clean. She has always made me feel at ease when explaining her findings. She clearly has many many years of experience and knowledge. She always goes above and beyond and has followed up with me via email and phone call, especially when she could tell that I was anxious. I have been to other Ultrasound clinics in Central London and I have always found that they are more expensive (for no better service) and more importantly, they always try to upsell more of their services, not something that I believe is appropriate when it comes to health. Daniela has seen myself and friends of mine at short notice, and I will always continue to recommend Daniela and Sonoworld to anyone who requires an ultrasound.

Daniela Stan quite literally saved my life. I originally went to her for a routine abdominal ultrasound. Through her exceptional thoroughness and care, she suggested that I also check my thyroid and breasts — something I had never done before. I was not even aware that breast ultrasound was available as a screening option, as I had always thought mammograms were the only way. During this examination, Daniela found a very small invasive breast cancer at a stage where I had absolutely no symptoms. I had done yearly blood tests and many types of screening, but never breast imaging, simply because I did not know ultrasound was possible. My biopsy specialist and cancer treatment team later told me that Daniela is truly the hero of my story. Had it not been for her expertise and vigilance in finding such a small lesion, a few years later my situation could have been dramatically different. Daniela has many years of experience in both the UK and the US and it shows in every aspect of her work. She is incredibly thorough, highly skilled and deeply compassionate. What also deeply impressed me is that her fees are extremely affordable and she even offers free follow-up scans in cases where she finds lesions — something that speaks volumes about her integrity and genuine care for her patients. I urge every woman to prioritise breast screening and to see Daniela if possible. I will be forever grateful to her — she truly changed the course of my life.
