Mr Quah and his staff are very personable and proficient. Despite rare complications to my condition that was always a risk, the result is that I now not only have excellent 20/20 vision, but that I am no longer a burden to others. In particular, Mr Quah is very clear and informative about the eye condition, procedures and risks to provide the necessary confidence I had been seeking to make critical decisions after multiple surgeries for retinal detachments. This can only come from someone who genuinely cares about the best outcomes for those in their care, providing me with sound open advice that considered both eyes. It is the privilege of the patient to benefit from Mr Quah's expertise ...and my benefactor's purse!

Dr Qhah and his Senior Nurse (whose name I have embarrassingly forgotten, is so knowledgeable, has the most delightful manner, character and soft Irish accent), are so helpful. Very straightforward advice in explaining all of the potential pros and cons before instructing them to undertake my eye lens replacement surgery, using Hanita Intensity Pentafocal lenses. I have had 4 eye operations with Mr Goel I have been short sighted all my live resulting in having to use contact lenses most of my life. After having a detached retina and having a NHS cataract operation, I decided I wanted to correct both eyes so I didn’t have to wear contact lenses anymore. So I was recommended by my optician to go and see Mr Goel at Spire Hospital, after an initial consultation everything was explained to me of what was needed, to correct my eyes. His team were very friendly and experienced after having three more procedures. I am now contact lens free and use reading glasses rarely, I am over the moon with the result. I would recommend anybody who wants to improve their eyesight to see Mr.Goel and his team. I think it’s worth paying, maybe a little bit more and getting a amazing result as your eyes are so precious.

I have recently had 2 cataract operations and 2other procedures by Mr Goel at the Lincoln private hospital. I had quite a phobia about the eye operation but need not have worried as Mr Goel put my mind at ease and no longer have that worry as long as he would be doing it. I didn’t feel a thing it was brilliant. I would recommend Mr Goel to anyone. I had numerous scans and tests, nothing was too much trouble for him and his team. I can now see without glasses as cataracts had got quite bad, I even gave up driving myself but can now carry on, what a difference he has made to my life. I would like to thank him for his skills and kindness, a very clever man.

A very nice centre, however the waiting area is a little small when they are busy. On this occasion I had to wait for a seat and my appointment was delayed. Apologies were given for the delay.

I had my lens exchange procedure in March 2025 I had both eyes done one on a Monday and the other one on Wednesday .From the first consultation to the finished procedure I cannot fault Mr Qua and his team .. he explained exactly what would happen and answered all my questions… it all went as it should have done and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.. I do not have to wear my vari focal glasses at all now where as before I could not do without them .. thank you Mr Qua the freedom is Amazing as are you !!

I am completely satisfied at the treatment given to me by Mr S Goel, whom I found to a very pleasant man who took great care to put me at ease throughout the whole procedure in a most friendly and professional way.
