Friendly staff and the hospital is always immaculately clean.

Friendly and helpful admin and nursing staff. Nothing too much trouble. Room was satisfactory although a little noisy in the corridor. I found the body temperature probe in the ear sometimes uncomfortable. The ear is a delicate organ and my ear was left feeling bruised on a couple of occasions. Physio was good but items sent to my home were insufficient and sometimes not fit for purpose. I had to make additional blocks to adjust seating height.

The only complaint was that they working on the flooring in the corridor next to my room.

An all-round excellent experience

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

I feel so fortunate to have been allocated The Duchy for my operation. I had several visits leading up to my procedure ….everybody was so friendly and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was amazing especially as the staff had so much more to contend with due to Covid-19. Everywhere was being cleaned and wiped down and all patients were given new masks. Very very reassuring.

The Duchy Hospital was excellent in every way. The welcome, the courtesy, the friendliness, the professionalism. There was nothing negative about it. A very pleasant experience overall - to be in the hands of people who put your welfare at a premium and could demonstrably seen to care for you.

Very good experience. Private room which was helpful with Covid situation also aided with being able to rest.
