Dr Borlase was extremely open and approachable. He listened carefully to a rather long and complex history, and took on my concerns and asked pertinent questions. He was also very efficient although not at the expense of a thorough consultation. He requested existing test results from my NHS GP rather than doing new tests, which saved time and I was able to have an instant diagnosis and treatment route offered. He took the time to explain properly and also gave clear treatment options so that I was able to make an informed choice. He has also given clear and directed follow up options. Overall an excellent clinical experience, and I am very relieved to have answers to concerns that I have struggled with for several years.

Mr Mohammad Masood was the second consultant I met at London Spire East hospital through my private medical insurance as I wasn't satisfied or getting any treatment from my initial consultant. Mr Masood took time to discuss my options, draw diagrams to explain processes, explained risks and advantages and gave me all the information I needed to make the right decision for me. The subtotal hysterectomy I had to resolve severe fibroid issues was performed amazingly, I healed well within the expected 6 week timeframe and everything has been smooth sailing without any pain or much discomfort since. Mr Masood has changed (and saved) my life and I appreciate everything that he has done for me. I recommend him fully from my experience and interactions. He fully understood how I was suffering, was compassionate and empathic, and didn't disregard my women's health issues as my doctor and previous consultant had. I saw Dr Penman for both of my pregnancies for a Nuchal Scan with Gender, then later for Late Growth scans. He was so patient when the babies weren't in the right position to get the best images, and he made sure I understood all the measurements he was taking. He answered all my questions and helped ease some worries I had. I highly recommend him!
