Having contracted COVID-19, which subsequently led to the development of long COVID, I underwent weekly Perrin Technique sessions with Rakhee for several months. Referred via MSK. I did not want a surgical opinion but was persuaded as it was suggested that other options may be available. With reference to the consultation, dismissive of symptoms and inaccuracies with scan? Was reviewing a scan from 2018 not 2024. Felt patronised and humiliated by general attitude. Was not interested in symptoms or effects on daily life. Summary letter sent to myself and GP reflected the above. Interestingly letter had wrong address and I was referred to by the wrong name in the letter? As an NHS staff nurse I feel sorry that this kind of poor service exists.
