Cromwell Hospital is generally always a good experience.

I had been worried for some time and finally messaged One Heart on a Sunday evening. The next day I had a lunchtime face to face with Dr Guttmann., Seventy two hours later I had three tests (CT Coronary Angiogram, Echocardiogram, and ECG). The following Monday I had another face to face with Dr Guttmann. Everything was explained to me very clearly (why the tests were suggested, what they would involve, and then what they meant). A huge worry lifted in eight days. I received more than peace of mind. I was given thoughtful explanations and advice in everyday language, and suggestions for my future health. The staff were reassuring, clearly knowledgable, and answered all my questions. I was apprehensive before the CT, but the staff put me completely at ease. The echo and ECG were explained considerately and in detail by the physiologist. I would confidently recommend One Heart to anyone who is worried about symptoms they are experiencing.

My experience was consistently excellent. A large part of this was due to Dr Nijjer, who is an extraordinarily good doctor.

HCA ancillary staff were excellent and friendly, putting me at ease. The one exception is that despite being fully covered by private medical insurance (incl pre-authorisation codes and competing multiple online forms and confirming details) the HCA administrative/ reception staff on arrival were overly focused on (and their primary priority is to) obtain credit card details and associated authorisation for extra procedures and tests which go beyond the scope of the referral and pre-authorisation in case suggested. The requested authorisation is open-ended and requested at a point when patients are vulnerable. The HCA admin staff were unable to explain why authorisation was required in my circumstances with full insurance coverage - all they could manage was a weak “it’s just our process”.

I recently saw Mr Davis and he was wonderful. He was kind and put me at ease right away. The procedure was easy and he followed up with me by phone. His nurses were also fantastic. When I had a question, I got a prompt response which I really appreciated.

I was very surprised to find out the clinic has office at Nine Elmes, which is very close to my home. I’m very convenient. The facilities are new and the staff are very friendly. I had a great visit.

I had a good experience at the Lindo Ward, but I feel that in terms of nursing, there should be more staff as sometimes the nurses were very busy. Also, the bathrooms could be cleaned more and rubbish removed from the bins etc. Otherwise, staff were helpful and friendly. Disposable bed pans should also not be used more than once.
