Dr. Chitnavis is truly the doctor's hands you want to place yourself into. He was incredibly re-assuring, and had the bedside manner that was above and beyond. He should be teaching a course in this as the gold standard. David is first and foremost an outstanding human being, he is also a first class communicator, and an incredibly gifted surgeon. My experience has been nothing less than first class, we discussed options, pros and cons, and came to a joint decision. Long story short, after an L4/L5 fusion I am now pain free, mobile and enjoying my life so much more, the fact that it coincided with my retirement is an added bonus....I cannot recommend David enough.

Mr Banerjee was kind, courteous and sympathetic. He listened carefully and asked relevant questions to understand how to treat my chronic symptoms. Following an MRI scan, he explained and showed me the causes for my lower back pain. As I am a keen sportsman, he suggested epidural injections rather than the option of spinal decompression/ fusion operation, so that I can continue my rock climbing and cycling activities, uninhibited Mr Banerjee performed the injection very calmly and carefully. I felt relaxed and comfortable to such an extent that my blood pressure readings remained low throughout the procedures.

I am so incredibly grateful to have Dr Paraskevopoulos as my surgeon. From diagnosis onwards, Dr Paraskevopoulos was incredibly clear in his explanations, and really listened and responded to all our questions and concerns. He took the time to ensure we were fully informed of the balance of risks, benefits and complexities of the surgery, and secured the best team to undertake it.
