Wonderful, life changing experience and treatment. Dr Akula has been very kind, understanding and empathetic towards me throughout the treatment. He took time to explain my condition and made sure I understood everything. I felt comfortable asking questions and clear about the procedure and follow up. I felt very well looked after by Dr Akula and his team.

Following two difficult years of back pain, I underwent decompression and discectomy surgery with Mr Bell. The surgery was life-changing, I've been pain-free ever since. His bedside manner is professional and kind. I felt reassured I was in good hands throughout the entire process. Could not recommend more highly.

When I first came to Doctor Sian, I was in a very bad way with prolapsed discs and chronic pain, as a result this had impacted my mental health to a very dark place. I had lost the ability to live my normal life because of pain and fear. Doctor Sian was the first person to acknowledge my situation properly after years of being treated less well by other Doctors. He explained our options clearly and was always easy to talk to. Over the time I have been seeing him, I have slowly recovered from being in terrible pain, to being in a much better physical state, and my mental health has massively improved. It was because of Doctor Sian that I have been able to have my life back. Thank you Doctor Sian.

Mr Aloe has been brilliant. Has really taken the extra time to answer all my questions, help me understand exactly what I was having done and what I need to do after the surgery. He has been very patient and understanding with me when I was worrying. I felt very well looked after and both before and after surgery. He took the time to see me weekly after surgery to ensure I had the best outcome for my wound. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Mr Banerjee was kind, courteous and sympathetic. He listened carefully and asked relevant questions to understand how to treat my chronic symptoms. Following an MRI scan, he explained and showed me the causes for my lower back pain. As I am a keen sportsman, he suggested epidural injections rather than the option of spinal decompression/ fusion operation, so that I can continue my rock climbing and cycling activities, uninhibited Mr Banerjee performed the injection very calmly and carefully. I felt relaxed and comfortable to such an extent that my blood pressure readings remained low throughout the procedures.

Consultations were very brief and limited in the information given. No follow up to unsuccessful treatment offered. Messages left to office to make contact for follow up not answered.

I am so incredibly grateful to have Dr Paraskevopoulos as my surgeon. From diagnosis onwards, Dr Paraskevopoulos was incredibly clear in his explanations, and really listened and responded to all our questions and concerns. He took the time to ensure we were fully informed of the balance of risks, benefits and complexities of the surgery, and secured the best team to undertake it. I really believe things would not have gone so smoothly without him. His kind and professional manner gave us huge confidence, and I could not be happier with the care I have received.
