Mr Mo Akhavani was just brilliant. He explained what was wrong with my finger what would happen during the operation and my after care. On the day of the operation he made me feel relaxed and during the op ( I had a local ) he was both professional and funny making the whole experience so much better. I hope I don’t have to have another operation but if I do I want Mr Mo Akhavani in my corner. Thank you 🙏

You know you are in good hands from the moment you first meet Mr Nanidis. I was extremely nervous about having DIEP surgery but he puts you at ease, explains the procedure very well and has an excellent bedside manner. He also checks on you often straight after the surgery and through the follow ups. Amazingly I didn't have to have drains and the quality and neatness of the surgery is exceptional. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Mr Lawton diagnosed my problem swiftly and his staff made the arrangements for surgical treatment in a hospital. In the hospital (King Edward VII) I was well looked after. The short surgical procedure by Mr Lawton was carried out with a local anaesthetic, on schedule and, with explanations and reassurance being given at all stages. Post operative care was comprehensive and I was able to leave the hospital without delay , but with clear instructions on how to behave and what pain killers to take. Four days on, the original pain has gone and the pain from the surgical wound is subsiding rapidly. Thank you; all good, alround. I am a happy patient.

It worked! Mr Kassam is Patience personified… he kindly explained twice (because I find it hard to listen when stressed about my health) all the things I should and should not worry about … I had read his explanation of TMJ from my dentist Who Had studied with him - by coincidence- so I felt I was in the best hands and have come out of the operation with full mobility again- fantastic 😎

Doctor was good, wait time was 1hour. I hope to hear from the doctor with the next steps soon.

I was privileged to have three major surgeries with Ms Varghese. Each one she explained the process which made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Time was taken to explain my options so I could choose, this was vital to making me feel more in control and confident. She is friendly, thorough and experienced. I feel grateful and fortunate to have had such an amazing person reducing my risk of having breast cancer in the future. BRCA2 is starting to leave my thoughts. Thank you so much. X

My only difficulty in conveying my opinion of Kieran Power is finding the right words to express just how amazing a surgeon he is. This was after two previous reconstruction attempts had left me in a sorry state. I had been told it was in fact a “satisfactory result” because I could hide it in a bra (!) and there was not much else that could be done to help me. I was devastated and disfigured but my sister, a nurse, urged me to get a second opinion. From the moment I first met Kieran, I felt totally safe. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. His gentle manner is incredibly calming and I cannot express how much it meant to be treated with such kindness and respect after my previous experiences. This served to significantly reduce my anxieties from the start (and I had hitherto been treated for PTSD in connection with previous medical related traumatic experiences and my previous unsatisfactory cancer recon surgeries). I knew I was in safe hands and that this was a surgeon I could trust. His integrity and skill are outstanding. My surgery and recovery all went very well and I received wonderful care (Donna, his secretary, is just brilliant!). I have since shared photos of my recon with other breast cancer patients and they always say “wow, I want your surgeon!” I had just about given up even daring to hope that I might ever be able to feel vaguely happy about my body again after cancer but Kieran is a real life genius surgeon - I am eternally grateful to him. This Summer I pranced around in a bikini on the beach actually feeling confident I think!?!

I felt totally confident with Dr. Ghanem. He knew exactly what he was doing, and the results speak for themselves,The care I got after the surgery was also fantastic. They made sure I was comfy and knew what to expect during my recovery. It made a big difference knowing they were there for me every step of the way.

Very kind, patient and considerate. Made every effort to explain what was going on in an accessible way. I never felt confused or rushed. Results are better than I could have anticipated I am truly grateful. I would highly recommend Ms Majdak-Paredes.
