My experience with The Prostate Centre was highly informative and invaluable in helping me to decide on my treatment options following diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Very professional and made to feel at ease

I found the receptionists very professional and very helpful. The environment and atmosphere was good. It was very busy but well organised.

Appointment was via teams.

On the video consultation I found Dr zkrell quite brusqueand dismissive.

Excellent, communication has been prompt and clear from my first interaction, the whole team have been great.

Entering the lady at reception says straight down the corridor to room 6. Door at the end of the corridor says waiting room 3 so I go back and ask and she says yes. Going in, room 6 says do not disturb. But I’m wondering if it’s been left like that by accident. There’s the sound of wind playing but no sign explaining why so I spend a few minutes trying to figure out if it’s wind or a speaker. This could be handled by explaining clearly where to go and what will happen - particularly important to people who are neurodivergent, which is why I’m here. I’m anxious enough without extra cognitive load. She could say “Straight down the corridor into waiting room 3, the doctor is in room 6. If it shows do not disturb then wait and he’ll be with you shortly. There’s a speaker playing wind sounds to try to put you at ease.”
