It was good to meet Mr. Kelkar who explained sympathetically and clearly my options regarding surgery.

The rating for 'explanation' was because I would have liked more detail about the procedure and post operative probabilities. I realise that not all patients wish to know these things.

Thank you Dr Persad. After several serious water infections I was put onto a catheter with an anticipated 18 week waiting list. I was very concerned about the long term effect this would have on regaining normal bladder functions . As a result I decided to pay privately and was referred to Dr Persad. A Rezum operation was discussed, but after Mr Persad did a more detailed examination he suggested a Bladder Neck Incision operation. This has completely transformed my future prospects. I now have a better flow than for many years and am able to empty my bladder well. Thank you Dr Persad for diagnosing and performing the best procedure. I am catheter free which is enabling me to enjoy a healthy and active future

Mr Cohens approach could not be faulted, he was kind and considerate following my illness "sepsis", he explained concisely how he intended to treat me, he spent a considerable time with me, he explained what he intended to do if the removal of the catheter did not function.

My experience with Mr Nkwam was a pleasant one. He was clear with his explanation of the process and procedure. And was also friendly in his manner.
