It was quick, minimum discomfort and amazingly effective, in that the considerable reduction in my very heavy periods was virtually instant. I would go as far as to say it was life-changing and I have never looked back. The procedure not only saw me through until after the menopause, when my periods would stop anyway, but now 15 years down the line, still the fibroids remain ‘shrunk’ and not causing me any issues. I would recommend the procedure to anyone faced with multiple or large fibroids that have a considerable impact on your life and well-being. Dr Crowe could not have done more or been more accommodating.
