When I was told by my previous surgeon that there was no chance of removing my very awkward polyp internally, and that I need to lose 10 - 12 inches of colon along other important pats including my appendix, I asked for a referral to Dr Despott. That was the best decision I have made in my life. Just a few days after this I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from the man himself. He told me that having studied my notes he was willing to take my case on for internal microsurgery. He went out of his way to explain what was involved and the risks involved and the chances of success and failure. He answered all my questions very thoroughly making sure I understood what was involved. He was very professional but above that his caring attitude shone through. This caring attitude was reflected in every subsequent phone call and meeting including on the day of my operation when he ran through my procedure in detail. Then the operation...Dr Despott is a superhero in disguise! He worked tirelessly for more than 8 hours to detach and remove my polyp. I was sedated but could follow the whole procedure. It was a very difficult involved procedure but, despite the stress and the concentration required, Dr Despott remained calm and controlled the whole time - even managing to teach his colleagues what he was up to. His professional caring manner continued in the days and subsequent when he was checking on my condition. He explained to me that he "treats his patients as though they were members of his family". If you manage to be treated by Dr Despott then you can consider yourself very very fortunate.

Very professional yet friendly

Dr Kandiah kept me informed of what was to be expected in the procedure. The preparation for the procedure instructions were clear and therefore easy to follow. During the procedure, there was a point when he could not continue and he informed me of the reason and immediately sent me to a scan (on the same day). All of which was efficiently and sympathetically done. The follow up appointment was just as informative. He answered all of my questions and provided me with the reassurances I needed. I would highly recommend Dr Kandiah as he is extremely professional with an amazing bed side manner.

Professional and personable. We knew exactly what was going to happen and when. Dr Krishna Moorthy was very clear and engaging. I had total confidence in him as a Surgeon and expert in his field of study. Without him we wouldn't have the opportunity to live and have the opportunity to travel as no other Surgeon had the skills required to the surgery that was required. He has extensive experience of working with complex patients and shows care for each patient. Would highly recommend him.

Dr Bhuva and his Practice Secretary have been amazing with my cancer care (since being diagnosed in 2019). He takes the time to ensure I have a full understanding of my diagnosis, the options available with treatment and the research and statistics that go with them. As a patient that needs detail and information to feel in control, he will update me on timings and processes with scans, results and next steps. Dr Bhuva has gotten to know myself and my husband, our communication styles and what we need to be as comfortable as possible during our journey in the cancer world. I have never felt like he was too busy for me. He has treated me as an individual, not a statistic within a large group of patients. My case has been rare and complex and I know he seeks specialists and colleagues he has within his network to also ensure I am getting the best care possible. He doesn't let ego get in the way of things! The support given by his Practice Secretary is also 5*. She will always try her best to accommodate us with appointments, she knows exactly where we are up to in any process and is highly communicative with me and all the other specialist teams and departments involved in my care. This in itself helps keep stress levels low so you as a patient can focus on your treatment. I would not hesitate recommending Dr. Bhuva.

Dr. Diamantis is an excellent and very experienced medical oncologist. As a patient I feel listened to, and our consultations are always productive and enlightening. He is brilliant at explaining the treatment options available but also more than willing to seek out and advocate new ones, working alongside other highly skilled consultant radiologists and surgeons. I very much feel he is on the cancer journey with me, seeking solutions and supporting me along the way. He has been successfully controlling my metastatic colorectal cancer for almost two years with very positive results and I trust his judgement. He seems genuinely concerned for my welfare and I am so grateful he uses his considerable knowledge and experience to work towards the best outcome for me.
