My experience of egg freezing at the Lister was really positive from start to finish. I am really grateful to Mr Nicopoullos who was is extremely knowledgeable and skilful at explaining things clearly. Even though I always had many questions, I never felt rushed and he always took the time to listen and to make me feel at ease. You can really tell how passionate he is about his profession and for providing the best care for his patients. I would also like to thank his whole team for providing such excellent service and care. I am really glad that I chose the Lister and I would definitely recommend the clinic and Mr Nicopoullos to anyone who is interested in egg freezing or fertility treatment.

Dr Thum listened to us and identified that I had very active NK cells which were causing repeated miscarriages. Without him and his expertise, we wouldn’t be parents. His positivity really helped too, and he was willing to try different things if the original course of action didn’t work.

I'd struggled for over 10 years with a vaginal issue. It had been misdiagnosed as thrush, cystitis, DIV, CV and other things with no resolution. I'd been taking medication for each of them to nil effect. I'd been to the NHS twice, private healthcare with another specialist, had a microbiome scan done and also consulted with experts in the US. After many years of struggling in pain, I finally found Dr Ugwumadu. He seemed to know so much more about what he was talking about - he asked incisive questions to try to understand what was going on. He took time to do a number of tests which came back negative. When a previous specialist saw this they just ignored the negative tests and said it was probably still thrush. Dr Ugwumadu took the results seriously and realised that negative results meant it was something else. He was able to recognise that what I was struggling with was skin related. It was transformational for me and made a lot of sense. He recommended a treatment plan and I've felt better than I have in years. He's also just a lovely person and takes the time to explain things to you, often things which are quite complicated. He also says he treats the whole person rather than just the issue which felt definitely true to me. I originally saw him through the NHS but given the long waiting lists I chose to see him privately after that and I'm so glad I did. I couldn't sing his praises more - he was truly amazing. Mr Minas was very helpful and welcoming. He explained everything thoroughly and in a way that I could understand. He took time to answer any questions I had and didn't rush me. He went through all the risks and benefits of the surgery that I needed as well as medication after the surgery to ensure I could make an informed decision. He always made me feel very comfortable. He managed to get me booked in for surgery with only 4 days notice due to a cancellation slot coming up. I am very grateful for his expertise and for doing my surgery at such short notice. I am hopeful that my endometriosis shouldn't cause many problems in the future now that Mr Minas has thoroughly excised everything that he could see and with the ongoing medication I'm hopeful it will stop/slow down the regrowth. I'm very thankful to Mr Minas for all his help and support over the last 2 weeks.

I had a good experience with Dr Venkatesh Subramanian. His team was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, and I have no faults with his service.
