Mr Ayoub explained the whole process and subsequent outcome very thoroughly and answered any questions and concerns in detail. The surgery was on both eyes and the treatment was painless and took little time. All in all I felt I was in good hands all through the consultations and surgery and am very happy with the outcome. I cannot recommend Mr Deshmukh, his colleagues and Moorfields Private Eye Hospital highly enough - the whole experience has been incredible and I am almost unable to believe the outcome - having had months of deteriorating vision while trying to get a proper diagnosis, once I attended Moorfields Private and met Mr Deshmukh I was reassured and confident that a resolution was possible. I had virtually lost the vision in one eye, and had impaired vision in the other, was unable to drive, to read and latterly to use a computer or see the television. Prior to these problems I had worn rigid contact lenses for 48 years. Following replacement lens treatment with EDOF lenses I am now able to see better than since my teenage years - I do not need glasses at all, thanks to Mr Deshmukh.

I am relatively young to have cataracts and have always been scared of the optician especially the puffy puffer eye pressure machine. I had to go private as I was too scared to wait. It was the best decision me and my family made. Mr Kasmiya was so kind, gentle and patient with me. He explained everything to me in a kind manner and was clear as to what to expect. He never made me feel silly for being so scared of the operation and helped me throughout my time at the King Edward VII Hospital. His after care has been great no puffer machines! He has always been fair and honest in his diagnosis. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Kasmiya for any optical issues you may have concerns with. I am currently saving for my next eye operation which I know will be as great as the first.

My father was experiencing visual disturbance and was extremely worried. Stacey Strong was very reassuring, thorough and was able to swiftly identify that my father had the beginnings of a macular hole. She was able to explain what the next steps would be, which would involve an operation, and followed up with us afterwards to ensure my father was recovering well. I would have no hesitation recommending Stacey to anyone experiencing an eye issue.

Mr kinsella is extremely approachable and allows as much time as is required to fully explain results/procedures and answer questions. He is very calm and reassuring which makes for a relaxed experience.
