I was happy as he was seen within a week of my enquiry and Dr Gupta called in advance to explain how the sedation will work and what was involved. Prior to the enquiry I had been waiting for over a year for him to be seen by NHS services to no avail. During the procedure I am happy there were no tears and he coped really well. A fantastic doctor. His friendly and welcoming attitude put me at ease from the first moments of my visit. Prof Andi had everything arranged so that we could review my X-rays together. After 15 minutes I had a clear understanding of the story told by my X-ray, even though I know nothing about medicine. The magic was that he almost made me feel as if I was another doctor, rather than a patient. Overall, I left in a fantastic mood, confident and happy that I was in good hands.
