Clean Really friendly lovely staff. Felt very cared for

The Lister is an excellent hospital where I’d be happy to be a patient again if I ever needed to be (hopefully not of course!).

The Clinic is clean and modern. Every appointment I had was on time and there was never any rush within the appointments.

My experience with the orthoptist was good . The experience with the consultant was less satisfactory. In going into the consultation I was not convinced they had fully read my child’s notes. Having orally reminded them of the history they gave some advice. In terms of being able to get to a clear next step, I had to ask quite a few probing questions and remind them of details of my child’s history. This resulted in revised advice as to the treatment plan. Overall I wasn’t left feeling confident in the advice given or that the consultant was on top of my child’s history/ the appropriate treatment plan.

Easy to arrange my appointment, clear communications to confirm arrangements, welcoming and quick process on arrival, friendly staff, and an informative and through diagnosis by the consultant with clear follow-up actions

We attended The Portland Hospital yesterday as Dr Lowe was treating our son’s asymptomatic pre-excitation. A worrying time was made so much easier by the wonderful staff and what was a very stressful day made so much better by all we dealt with, we received excellent expert care throughout.

Diagnostic Centre was fine but printer out of ink, MRI broken which didn't give an overall feeling that it is not a top end clinic
