I think he may have gone slightly over the time limit which is very much appreciated to make sure our appointment went well and we were set up for the next steps. Furthermore, I really appreciate his empathy and validation in caring not only about my condition, but treating myself as a person and reassuring my family. It goes without saying he is at the top of his field in both research and clinical experience and that provides a great level of reassurance and admiration when speaking too him. Katharine offered the perfect balance of support and, when necessary, challenge to us and our teen daughter. Our daughter was wary about starting therapy, but Katharine offered a reassuring presence right from the start. Dr. Ducci's communication style during our therapy is clear and based on our relationship of mutual trust. In my experience Dr. Ducci 's therapeutic guidance is extremely constructive and practical. In fact, after stopping therapy for a few years, I chose to return to Dr. Ducci to resume my therapy to cope with my depression and life choices because I found her so helpful.
