Mr Marshall was friendly, and clear about what was wrong and what needed doing. He explained the options of NHS treatment vs private. On the day of the operation he spent time with me and my wife before and after the operation, and we saw him again for a check-up four weeks later.

My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.

This was the second time being treated for Mr Thomas - each time for completely separate complaints. Exactly like the first time, the care provided was excellent. Each appointment and on the day of surgery, time was taken to explain everything and answer questions that I had. Options were always given to me when possible, and fully explained, and I really felt I was involved in my care throughout. I couldn’t recommend Mr Thomas highly enough.

I had surgery with Dr. Kyriakides for a small pro gastric hernia repair. The Dr. Has been extremely professional and reassuring on each visit and before the treatment. The surgery has been excellent and the scar is not even visible such the good job he has done.

He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. I am recovering really well and have huge admiration respect and gratitude to Professor Ameet Patel, I thank you and all your team. Paul D
