Mr Bull inspires confidence. He explained the issues and options clearly and like a human being! I felt listened to and able to ask questions. I haven’t yet had the procedure he advised but I believe it is the right course of action at this stage.

Really pleased with service and advice and care of mr rai. After initial consultation and discussion of all the options. I was fortunate that the problem I had was seen too early and at the time was not suffering like other people further down the line with same condition, just pins/needles etc. So with the advice given by mr rai and explaining the procedure making clear benefits and risks. I was very concerned. But knew it had to be done to avoid future problems. Mr rai spoke to me before operation of disc replacement of c5/c6. once again explaining procedure. I’ve had operation and am back on my feet and going home following day after mr rai telling me operation all went well. I thought I’d be in more pain but actually feel comfortable. After a warning from the neurosurgeon & oncologist who had been monitoring the regrowth of my meningioma in September 2023 that it required surgery & as it was a second operation it was at high risk of stroke, bleeding, bone infection, going through old scar tissue, the tumour was pressing against a large vein. My daughter suggested I sought a second opinion, we chose Mr Shoakazemi who also specialises in my type of brain tumour.  He confirmed…the risks were very high indeed, the brain tumour had grown too big for fractionated radiotherapy and surgery through the old wound of some 20 + years ago was the only option. We found Mr Shoakazemi to be extremely approachable, professional, calm, warm & informative.  I feel incredibly lucky to have had the faith on a date said to be the unluckiest day in the yearly calendar …Friday 13th October to undergo surgery with such a gifted neurosurgeon. I am (thankfully to Mr Shoakazemi) walking straight, talking straight & feeling fully blessed.
