I found my review appointment with Mr Yamoah very, very helpful. I had been wanting to speak with him in person for a while, as I had lots of questions & issues I wanted to discuss, after my surgery. Mr Yamoah was very approachable & explained things clearly in a way that was easy to understand (& with diagrams - which I loved!) He answered many of the questions I had without me even having to ask, & discussed issues that were connected to & arising from my surgery. His bedside manner was brilliant, he was calm & very open, & spoke in a relaxed but confident & informative manner. He put me at ease & engaged brilliantly, making eye contact & talking TO me rather than just looking at his computer (which, in my experience, is unfortunately often the case.) Despite going in for my appointment about 40 minutes late, I didn't feel 'rushed' (which was brilliant) & he was happy for me to ask all the questions I had & discuss all my concerns & worries. I felt like I was listened to, & treated as an individual, rather than just a number. I came out of the appointment feeling happy, satisfied that all my questions had been answered & issues around the future had been discussed & suggestions made. I feel that taking the time to review patients & address their worries/concerns following surgery/ moving forward is SO important - it puts patients' minds at ease & saves future anxiety. Mr Yamoah did exactly that. My experience with Mr Yamoah has been great & I am pleased & thankful that he was the one to undertake my surgery.

He asks lots of relevant questions and listens to my replies. It was a good appointment. Both my appointments have been so far. I have full confidence that Mr Durnea is doing all he can to help me.

Mr Aldrich listens to the patient and provides clear explanations. He has a calm, professional and friendly manner which instills confidence.

Gina listened to what I had to say and was understanding of my symptoms. She provided medication options in an informative way that made me feel empowered to make a choice that I felt was most suited to me

Mr Biswas was extremely calming which as an anxious patient put me at ease immediately. His explanation of the procedure was clear and helpful, I really liked how he kept me well informed throughout today and his call prior to the procedure. Previously I have had very similar procedures to this one and they have left me feeling very uncomfortable in pain and upset. This was not the case today so many thanks.
