Care on the weekends was lacking as nursing staff were less engaged with patients unfortunately. Overnight care and day care during weekdays was very good.

Easy and helpful

My experience of the Wilmslow Hospital before, during and after my ear surgery has been excellent. The information I received about my pre-operative assessment and what to expect on the day of surgery was extremely useful and helped me to feel at ease. On the day of my operation, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. All the people involved in my care were friendly and attentive and they couldn't have done more to ensure I was well looked after. The facilities and cleanliness were exceptional and I was made to feel very comfortable during the time I was there. I would definitely recommend this hospital to others.

Mr Berber is a very approachable surgeon, and he explained the details of a carpal tunnel release surgery very clearly. The members of his surgical team were equally friendly and I felt at ease and confident in their hands. The preparation and surgery were carried out with a similar sense of unhurried precision. Very friendly and informative

Every single member of staff that I came into contact with was totally professional but with kindness and respect for me. They eased my anxieties and made my time at your hospital an absolute joy. I’m so grateful for that.

Very quick and efficient

The medical part of Chelsea Outpatient Centre was absolutely fine. My only issue was that on entering the building, which was security controlled which I was not aware of, the man at the desk was actually quite rude and asked me where I was going.
