Excellent but a longer wait after my consultation to speak to a secretary

The staff are amazing very friendly I was informed every step of the way before and after my operation! Excellent

HCA ancillary staff were excellent and friendly, putting me at ease. The one exception is that despite being fully covered by private medical insurance (incl pre-authorisation codes and competing multiple online forms and confirming details) the HCA administrative/ reception staff on arrival were overly focused on (and their primary priority is to) obtain credit card details and associated authorisation for extra procedures and tests which go beyond the scope of the referral and pre-authorisation in case suggested. The requested authorisation is open-ended and requested at a point when patients are vulnerable. The HCA admin staff were unable to explain why authorisation was required in my circumstances with full insurance coverage - all they could manage was a weak “it’s just our process”.

On the whole visiting the Spires hospital is a pleasant experience.

This seems to be a well run establishment and the staff are caring. The hospital is very clean too.

Spire hospital were very helpful in providing all the information I needed to book my appointment. My visit to the hospital was easy. Everyone was helpful and efficient.

Helpful staff. Clean hospital. Parking was quite busy.
