Mr Shane Murphy

Shane Murphy is an accredited psychotherapist based in Cork, Ireland, dedicated to guiding individuals and couples through life's challenges. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a BA (Hons), graduating from Middlesex University.

Having discovered his passion for psychotherapy later in life, Shane understands that personal growth and self-awareness are lifelong pursuits. His empathetic and non-judgmental approach creates a safe space for clients to share and explore their thoughts and feelings, helping them to manage anxiety, process childhood experiences, and navigate relationship difficulties. In addition, he is an active member of the Youghal Cancer Support Centre, where he provides essential emotional support and coping strategies for those affected by cancer.

Shane's work centres on empowering his clients to understand themselves better, handle stress effectively, and build resilience to face life's challenges. Whether addressing overwhelming anxiety, attachment issues, or the lingering effects of past experiences, he strives to help individuals and couples develop deeper connections and lead joyful, burden-free lives.
