Mr. Peter Samuels

Mr. Samuels graduated with an MBChB from the University of Pretoria in 1997. He then worked at various public hospitals in South Africa.

In 2001, he obtained a Diploma in Anaesthetics with the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. In 2002, he worked in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Upon returning to South Africa, Mr. Samuels worked in general surgery, anaesthetics and trauma. In 2006, he became a neurosurgery registrar at the University of Pretoria.

Mr. Samuels qualified with a Master of Medicine in Neurosurgery in 2011. He then completed the Fellowship of Neurosurgery qualification in 2017 with the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.

Mr. Samuels has obtained other certifications, including ABIME, ATLS Instructor (South African Trauma Association), Gamma Knife Radiosurgery (University of Pittsburgh, USA), Endoscopic Spinal Surgery (Joimax, Austria), Microvascular Neurosurgery (Macquarie University, Australia) and Neuromodulation (Medtronic, France).
