Mr Lee's journey in the medical field began with the completion of his Licentiates and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (LRCP & SI MBBCh) degree at the National University of Ireland and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2003. In 2008, Mr Lee joined  the specialist register for ophthalmology and in 2015, he joined the specialist register for ophthalmic surgery.

Mr Lee has expertise in general eye conditions, with specialist interests in cataract surgery, oculoplastic surgery and lacrimal surgery. He also has expertise in blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery).
