I am a qualified psychotherapist with over 35 years’ experience in both private practice and multi-disciplinary teams. My approach is Humanistic and Integrative, drawing from a wide range of trainings, including Process-Oriented Psychotherapy and Biosynthesis.
I work with individuals and couples, both online and in person. Over the years I have developed a particular interest in supporting people with addiction, codependency, developmental trauma, eating difficulties, and recovery from sexual abuse.
Alongside my clinical work, I have been a supervisor for over fifteen years, supporting both trainee and experienced therapists in their professional development.
My extensive training includes humanistic and integrative psychotherapy, neuro-somatic trauma, depth psychology, and attachment dynamics. I bring these approaches together in a way that is responsive to each client’s needs, with the aim of creating a safe, supportive, and compassionate space for healing and growth.
I have just completed a Masters in Mindfulness and Compassion at the University of Aberdeen. I researched the impact of undertaking mindfulness and compassion training, to shame and self-criticism in supervision.
