Mr Edward Green

Mr. Edward Green is an experienced Psychotherapist currently practicing at Dundalk Counselling Centre and also at Creamery Road Crossmaglen. He holds a Master of Education in Educational Psychology (MEd), Postgraduate Diplomas in Careers Guidance and Guidance & Counselling, as well as a Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Edward takes an integrative and person-centred approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic models to meet each client’s unique needs. His practice incorporates CBT, humanistic, narrative, interpersonal, and solution-focused methods, alongside internal family systems, transactional analysis, and phenomenological approaches. This flexibility allows him to tailor therapy to the individual, promoting self-understanding, emotional resilience, and meaningful change.

He has extensive experience supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, bereavement, addictions, and self-esteem issues. Edward also provides specialised support in areas of identity, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ counselling, and works with both adults and young people to address a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns.

Edward has extensive experience of helping people with bereavement issues and works with CRUSE bereavement Care where he has completed training in working with  Children and Adolescents. He  has trained and worked as a Counselling Supervisor with Cruse.
