Prof. David Keegan

Professor David Keegan is an ophthalmologist. Professor Keegan's areas of special interest include inherited retinal degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal transplantation, health economics, low-vision device development, biomarkers in age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retinal repair and regeneration.

Professor Keegan is involved in an active retina research group. The research group strives to ensure that their basic sciences studies parallel those in the clinic and have run seven clinical trials. Professor Keegan is involved in residency and fellow training and lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
