Opened in September 2024, Progressive Vision Swords is our state-of-the-art clinic designed to deliver outstanding private eye care for patients across North Dublin, Meath, Louth and surrounding areas. Led by a team of expert consultants, we provide specialised services in cataract surgery, medical retina, glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, oculoplastics and paediatric ophthalmology.
Our Swords clinic introduces a major innovation in Irish eye care: office-based cataract surgery (OBS). This advanced procedure allows patients to undergo cataract surgery in a fully accredited, hospital-standard surgical suite within the clinic – no general anaesthetic, fasting or IV required. Patients experience faster recovery, reduced wait times, and the comfort of being cared for by the same trusted team from consultation to surgery.

All very good attention. I felt the IPL … Instant pulsating light ….was extremely expensive €1400 for four sessions .. each session less than 1 hour. Unfortunately it is not retrievable as it is not recognized as yet I believe . Ann D... March 2025
