About Ms Clare Quigley
Ms Clare Quigley is a Consultant Eye Surgeon with a specialist interest in cataract and oculoplastic surgery. She practises at Progressive Vision in Dublin, with clinics in Sandyford and Swords.
Ms Quigley graduated in Medicine from Trinity College Dublin in 2014 and went on to complete her ophthalmic surgical training in Ireland. In 2021 she was awarded the highest overall score in the European Board of Ophthalmology diploma, recognising her excellence in the field.
Following her training, she undertook 18 months of fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery. This included work at James Cook University Hospital in the UK, where she also served as a consultant oculoplastic surgeon within the NHS. She was subsequently awarded the prestigious Oculoplastic Fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia.
Alongside her clinical work, Ms Quigley lectures on the Genomic Medicine MSc programme at Trinity College Dublin.
