Dr. Arthur Cummings

Mr. Arthur Cummings is a Consultant Eye Surgeon at the Wellington Eye Clinic and Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Beacon Hospital. With over two decades of experience, Mr. Cummings is a distinguished authority in LASIK, PRK, ICL, refractive, and cataract surgeries, earning international acclaim for his expertise in laser eye surgery, keratoconus treatment, custom lens replacement, and cataract procedures.

Since joining the Wellington Eye Clinic in 1998, Mr. Cummings has performed over 50,000 LASIK procedures and 15,000 cataract and intraocular lens surgeries. As an Associate Clinical Professor at UCD, he imparts his knowledge through lectures and teachings on refractive surgery globally, having delivered over 500 invited talks at international meetings.

Mr. Cummings's commitment to advancing ophthalmic care extends beyond clinical practice. He co-presents the WaveLight Refractive Fellowship Course, impacting over 200 ophthalmologists worldwide. As the only Irish member of the prestigious International Intraocular Implant Club, he maintains a pivotal role in shaping industry standards and practices.
