Dr Younis Khalid

Dr Younis Khalid is a Consultant Neonatologist and Consultant  Paediatrician with over 30 years of experience in Paediatrics and Neonataology. He is based in Dubai and currently sees patients at Saudi German Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor of Paediatrics and Neonatology at several teaching hospitals in Egypt. Before joining Saudi German Hospital in September 2012, he practiced at Al Salama Hospital and Medclinic Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

Dr Younis completed his primary medical qualification at Ain Shams University, Egypt in 1983, followed by his Master's degree in Paediatrics at the same university in 1989. He completed his MD in Paediatrics and Neonatology at Al Azhar University, Egypt in 2003.

Dr Younis has specialist expertise in managing both neonatal intensive care and paediatric intensive care units. At Saudi German Hospital, he manages all high-risk newborn cases, including cases of low birth weight, prematurity, neonatal sepsis, persistent hypoglycaemia, congenital anomalies, respiratory distress and post-surgical care. He also carries out routine paediatric check-ups, vaccinations and paediatric growth and development assessments.
