Dr. William Ahmed Al Abbas

Dr William Ahmed Al Abbas is an ENT Specialist practising at Arabian Medical Centre, with over 15 years of clinical and surgical experience in the diagnosis and management of ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions. He holds a Syrian Board Certification in Otorhinolaryngology and is licensed as a Specialist Physician by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

His clinical practice includes the assessment of a broad range of ENT disorders and the surgical management of conditions affecting the upper respiratory tract and ears. Dr Al Abbas has experience performing procedures such as tonsillectomy, nasal septal correction and rhinoplasty, alongside middle ear surgery, including tympanoplasty, and advanced laryngeal procedures. His training also involved supporting the investigation and treatment of complex cases under the supervision of senior clinicians.

Dr Al Abbas completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Aleppo in Syria in 2003, followed by specialist training in otorhinolaryngology through the Syrian Ministry of Health between 2003 and 2008. He subsequently obtained his Syrian Board certification from the Syrian Commission for Medical Specialties in 2015.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a resident physician at Damascus University and later practised as an ENT Specialist at a private clinic in Hama Masyaf, Syria. Drawing on his hospital based training and private clinic experience, Dr Al Abbas takes a patient focused approach to ENT care, combining clinical assessment with appropriate medical and surgical treatment.
