Dr. Waleed Khalid

Dr Waleed Khalid is a highly experienced physiotherapist who has worked across many hospitals and within the healthcare industry. His practise is based around evidence-based treatment, and he has particular expertise in orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. He currently works as the head of education at Knowledge Bridge and is also the head of the department at the Advanced Centre for Daycare Surgery.

Dr Khalid gained his bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 2011 from the University of Cairo before undertaking a doctor of physical therapy (DPT) in 2020. He has also recently completed a doctor of physical therapy at the University of Montana - College of Business.

His previous roles include senior physiotherapist at the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib medical group and physiotherapist at Sinai Clinic Hospital.

Dr Khalid is committed to professional development and has undertaken courses in a range of different areas, including advanced cardiovascular life support, orthopaedic manual therapy, advanced neuro rehabilitation, dry needling, and medical taping (kinesiology taping). He also holds a FIFA diploma in football medicine.

He speaks English and Arabic.
