Dr Waleed Dandan is a specialist pediatrician at Prime Hospital in Dubai. He has over 12 years of experience in pediatrics and neonatology and treats a range of conditions including common pediatric disease, asthma and allergy, infectious diseases, growth & development, gastrointestinal diseases, mal-absorption, feeding difficulties and failure to thrive, and immunisations in the neonatal and pediatric age group. He also specialises in pediatric emergency care and neonatal and pediatric intensive care.
Dr Dandan gained his MBBS from Damascus University in Syria in 2002 before gaining a master's degree in pediatrics in 2007. He went on to practise for 4 years in reputed hospitals in Saudi Arabia before moving to UAE. His aim is to save patients lives, bring happiness to others, and fulfil his father's wish. He is dedicated to his patients and helping them get better.
Outside of the hospital, Dr Dandan enjoys reading, travelling, and listening to music.
