Ms Wadad Chabaan

Ms. Wadad Chabaan is a Psychosocial Support Provider and Mental Health Social Worker practicing at Ardens Medical Centre. She is deeply committed to fostering resilience, restoring dignity, and initiating long-term well-being among individuals and communities from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

Ms. Chabaan holds a BA in Psychology from the American University of Beirut and has completed specialized training in crisis intervention and management. Her professional work focuses on delivering comprehensive psychosocial support to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including personality and psychiatric disorders as well as substance and medication induced mental disorders, and trauma-related conditions.

Ms. Chabaan has extensive experience in social counselling, case planning, and referral coordination, ensuring that clients receive holistic, person-centred care tailored to their unique needs. Her practice also emphasizes safety planning for individuals at risk of self-harm, alongside trauma narration and recovery-oriented interventions.

She is certified in Mental Health Recovery and Inclusion, as well as in Managing Mental Health Emergencies in Detention Facilities, through collaboration with UNHCR. Through her work, Ms. Chabaan strives to empower individuals, strengthen coping capacities, and support sustainable mental health recovery within both clinical and community settings.
