Tomas Lawrence

Tomás Lawrence is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a wealth of experience in the field of sports and exercise. He completed a degree in Sports and Exercise from Cork Institute of Technology, and then pursued further specialisation in sports rehabilitation by completing a postgraduate Diploma at St. Mary's University, Twickenham. He has also completed a Masters in Physiotherapy from University College Cork.

Throughout his career, Tomás has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of sports teams, where he has applied his extensive knowledge and skills as a team physiotherapist. He has contributed his expertise to the Cork u20 footballers and served as an assistant physiotherapist for the Cork Senior footballers, gaining valuable experience in managing sports-related injuries and promoting athlete well-being.

In addition to his roles in sports, Tomás has also dedicated his time and expertise as a Primary Care Physiotherapist for the Health Service Executive (HSE) in Ireland. In this capacity, he has provided comprehensive care to a wide range of patients, including those with musculoskeletal injuries and neurological conditions. 

Tomás has developed a particular passion for addressing lower limb injuries and facilitating a safe return to physical activity. His specialised areas of focus include the assessment and treatment of conditions affecting the hips, knees (including ligament and meniscal injuries), ankles (covering issues such as sprains and post-operative care), and shoulders (addressing concerns like rotator cuff strains, ACJ problems, and labral tears).
