Dr. Sugra Fatima

Dr. Sugra Fatima is a physiotherapist at Nathani Medical Centre who prides herself on her high standards of treatment and ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with her patients. She aims for maximum rehabilitation of her patients and understands complex clinical issues that may impact recovery. Her areas of expertise include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, orthopaedics, stroke management, sports injuries, neurological conditions, multiple sclerosis and paediatric physiotherapy. Dr. Fatima works alongside other health care professionals to comprehensively assess a patient's needs and create appropriate treatment plans. She has particular skills in mulligans mobilisation, kinesiotaping, electrotherapy, and exercise therapy.

Dr. Fatima gained her BPT in physiotherapy from NTR University of Health Sciences in 2010 before achieving a diploma in paediatric physiotherapy. She then worked at MM Hospital in India before moving to the UAE and working at BR Medical Suites and Metro Medical Centre. Alongside her role at Emirates European Hospital, Dr. Fatima is also involved in supervising and teaching recently qualified physiotherapist assistants and implementing standards and policies.
